Is it easier to pay a plumber to change out a toilet or do it yourself?

I fixed my toilet watching a YouTube video. I’m sure you could do the same.

It’s not generally very complicated more than likely you can handle it.

Replacing the toilet is probably the only plumbing job I will do myself. It's really easy.

Like Harry said. It is super easy as long as you can lift the toilet. Just spend the extra few bucks on the rubber reinforved beeswax gasket because it is a little bit more robust when you go to put the toilet back on. Grab an extra set of hold down bolts too because as a general rule the old ones are going to be shot if you're gasket is leaking.
