How hard would it be to paint something that is black and laminate to a lighter color?

@Keepitsimple i will look into this. I initially thought Chalk Paint was a paint that somehow would turn your furniture into a chalkboard...you know, so that kids can scribble on it 🤭

Me too!!!! I did 2 rooms of furniture with it. Here is one set. It was my grandfathers dresser and night stand [image deleted]@iamnikki

I found someone nearby on marketplace with a decent black dresser, though I dont want black. I guess a good sanding and good primer should do the job. If he has a nightstand too it'd be perfect

@iamnikki you don’t even have to sand or prime. Honest! I did 3 coats of chalk paint and 2 with a matte finish and changed the hardware. It’s so easy! I’m excited for you!
