The first...the hardwood. The dark carpet makes it look too cold and too matchy matchy with the pillow cases and the darker accessories.

First one is nice but doesn't goes much with colour of furniture and wall.

Easy. You don't want a carpet. It stains, it's difficult to clean, it causes a lot of dust in the air, it triggers allergies making it difficult to sell later on, and it simply looks ugly.
