Do you Buy American if it means paying a higher price?

My car was assembled in America with a high US content and that was a factor for me.

It's not possible to buy a new Australian made car - they are all imported. But I do try to buy Australian products where I can, and in particular Australian food products. Imported food is an absolute last resort. Oh I've never bought a new car and wouldn't have any idea what that's like although one of the execs at my work has just bought themselves a Tesla model S outright for about A$175 k. Oucharoonies!
