You have to think of it as a two part issue. People mostly think about the cost of removal. But, then you have to have construction to fix the damage and to keep things from getting in again.

@DreamyCrush As a beekeeper (in the past) you would have to tell people that I just deal with bees and comb. All wood has to be removed because bees are driven by pheromones. They can chew their way back in. I am not a carpenter not a general contractor.

I used to live in the attic and had mice getting trapped in the roof. It was all cool until they started dying. You could smell it.馃憖

My neighbor hired a company to get racoons out of her attic. She didn't say how much it cost her, but she said it was expensive.
