Do you think siblings bedrooms should be seperated by gender?

I actually forgot that was a thing people did until my last post lol. I share a room with six siblings (three of them are boys, the oldest being 15) and different genders have never caused an issue for us. I've shared a room with my oldest brother since I was around 5 and he was 2馃槀

by law children over 5 aren't supposed to share room with a sibling of the opposite gender. i know this because my parents had CPS called on them when i was a kid and at the time all 4 kids shared one room. but really i don't see how its that big of a deal.

@foggymorning31 I feel like that may vary based on where you live. There's definitely no law here that says anything like that. Rules like that would only be enforceable with foster kids
@foggymorning31 no law like that where I live lol

@OliverMichaels I don't think that this is a law anywhere in the US lmao - literally criminalizing poverty.

@QuixoticSoul i don't know but because of this my parents had to put up a temporary wall in the living room and create me and my sister a room. and i also know from living in hud housing if you have 2 kids of opposite genders they will only give you a 3 bedroom not 2 like if you're kids are the same

@QuixoticSoul but i think it only become an issue if like in our case some asshole calls CPS on you
