by law children over 5 aren't supposed to share room with a sibling of the opposite gender. i know this because my parents had CPS called on them when i was a kid and at the time all 4 kids shared one room. but really i don't see how its that big of a deal.

@foggymorning31 I feel like that may vary based on where you live. There's definitely no law here that says anything like that. Rules like that would only be enforceable with foster kids

@QuixoticSoul i don't know but because of this my parents had to put up a temporary wall in the living room and create me and my sister a room. and i also know from living in hud housing if you have 2 kids of opposite genders they will only give you a 3 bedroom not 2 like if you're kids are the same
