When you were a child did your family gather around the dinner table and had a warm cooked meal?

If yes, At what age did you stop having them?

Yes we did.

My two sisters and I no longer live at home on the tobacco farm we grew up on, but every night my parents convene at their dinner table for a continuation of what they've always done, minus three daughters of course.

And when my sisters and I go back home for regular visits, we all still gather at the dining table, still sit in our old 'places' at the table, still fight for space, still scream for my father to intervene if someone else sits in our place, but then when the dust settles and our father lays down the law for the ten thousandths time, those offenders in question take their correct spot at the dinner table and we all sit around and eat dinner and talk about our lives like the mature adults we were all raised to be.[/c]
