Why the heck do they make lights like this?

🤦‍♀️ I had to change the one I have, the light bulb shattered, on me. Just give me SIMPLE lights to change. 😂

I have one of those in the entry of the house, gotta be careful with it. I guess it keeps the dust and bugs out.
