You know? without getting too technical, if you open the cupboard below the sink, there is normally a u shaped plastic thingy that contains all the crap. It can be easily removed emptied and replaced in much less time than it will take you to find the coke and vineger and make some hubble bubble toil and trouble like mixture that may not work. :0)

@GentlemanGeorge absolutely agreed if it's a sink with accessible pipes. I only responded to the shower issue. Thanks for non expensive fixtures bro👍️

@HannibalAteMeOut Find yourself a handyman (or lady ) with strong hands. It can be a bit tricky the first time.. But I live in a house with 4 long haired ladies , (if I include the hairy dog) and so it's an ongoing monthly excercise for me.. :0)
