Fan broken

I think my ceiling fan is broken, it still works but when I turn it on to go reverse it still cools down the room rather than heat up. Anyone else have this problem?

Easy fix. Douse the fan blades in lighter fluid and light a match.

that only works if there’s plenty of heat up by the ceiling. turn on the furnace.
