Two things. The refocus of the party system and the general public being fed up with the shit candidacies fed to them by the television talking heads.
Liberalism is conniving socialism with a heavy dose of greed while conservatism is basically nothing left to conserve.
Elections will never be predicated on issues again. They will be won by the most fed up candidate of either party who spews the most truth out of his or her face.
