Everyone should only speak English when they're in America. There's nothing in our Constitution saying people are allowed to talk however they want.

I realize you are a caricature but I have to disagree. Even as a moderately conservative person, I think people should be allowed to converse in what ever language they want, except in the workplace. English should be the 'commercial ' language. If you can be called an 'employee', then you should speak only English while you are earning money. It's rude to speak a foreign language in public settings like bars and restaurants, but people should have the freedom to be rude.

@puck61 So if you don't agree with someone they're automatically a caricature? I guess liberals aren't so tolerant after all.
@USAalltheway We've had this exact same exchange before! I think it's fine . You don't bother me, and I am a conservative, by the way.

@puck61 I don't even label myself as a conservative. I'm just an ordinary American.

@puck61 from someone who worked in Human Resources you cannot require any employee to only speak English while at work you may ask them but legally you can’t require them to do so.
@Angeleyez I understand that. I'm talking about the way I think things 'should' be, not the way things are.
@USAalltheway You are a leftist posing as an ultra conservative to poke fun at conservatives and there is nothing wrong with that. You do much better than others I have seen.

@puck61 he appears to be a very solid democrat voter - lol

@puck61 Yeah, and the way things should be is that anybody who says anything in a non-English language while they're working should be fined or jailed. That's what living in a free country is all about.
@USAalltheway You're good! 👍
