Thinking of redoing my bathroom. Would a steam shower or jet tub be better for relaxing?

I remodel bathrooms and let me tell you no matter how nice the tub the novelty wears off right away.. put in a high-end shower chances are you're busy like the rest of us and don't have much time to sit in the tub and if you do not for very long. It's almost like the formal dining room that becomes a place to put mail on the table it's not feasible or practical

@Jibby I can see that.. but after work I can easily relax in one for over half an hour. With families I could see it getting used far less

@MikefromEP true I agree but I'd rather have a multi shower head type setup.. they have nice shower benches that fold up against the wall made out of teak and stainless they're beautiful and you can just sit on that thing while the pulsating shower heads hit you. I I do home improvement so I'm sore after work and the bathtub becomes kind of like a big rigmarole that doesn't have much of a payoff if you can get a really good shower like I'm talking about. But you might be a bath person and I would understand. Too bad I can't come do it for you.

@Jibby I'm tired of my old tub. I am 6'5 and I can't properly fit into it. Tub is too shallow. The multi showers look pretty good. Not so sure about the rain effect ones though

@MikefromEP the rain affect is nice from the ceiling where you're just rinsing easier than turning your body.. but you can have multiple shower heads on all the walls hooked up to one system. Kind of with a control board so you can set up different shower heads for the way you need them and actually turn some off to get more water pressure to the fewer heads you want to use
