I am a part time housewife. My personality and interests are well suited to housewifery. I love cooking baking cleaning and homemaking. Im really good at it as well I've been cleaning for a living for 13+ years. I enjoy creating beautiful spaces and im an introvert. I also struggle with mental illness so peaceful time and productive time at home is really good for my brain. I only work 23 hr a week. My husband supports our chosen lifestyle. He works really hard and enjoys coming home to healthy lovingly prepared fresh food. Luckily, he is also very domestically inclined so he helps out where needed.
Women are lucky this day in age to be able to choose to work or not. It is our right. Most of us do have to work. I think empowered housewives are a wonderful thing. I don't agree with a woman doing something she doesn't want to do or being forced into a lifestyle.

@Brookeeboop Coming home to a clean house and a home cooked meal sounds amazing! :) Very lucky husband!

I wouldn't want to be one, I want to do something exciting that will fulfill me, I want to become a neurosurgeon, travel and volunteer.
I think of housewives just like I think of anyone really, they're not inferior or superior in any way. And I think they should be paid by the state for their work because if they didn't work, we'd have to pay for cleaners etc. [Btw I think that they get paid in some Scandinavian countries? Correct me if I'm wrong.]

@acpguy having dreams and wanting to help others doesn't make me lazy. And I'm not making my mom do anything. Oh and I also DO have backup plans. Did I have to state the obvious too?
The economy in my country is SHIT and I definitely don't live in a pink cloud, but that's none of your business.
Well, since you are much better at reading than me, the question says clearly: "ARE THERE ANY HOUSEWIVES ON HERE?" I'm not. "DO YOU LIKE BEING ONE?" I said I wouldn't like it, simple. "WHAT DO YOU THINK OF HOUSEWIVES?" And I answered that too. Simple as that.
But you saw a young lady who mentioned "neurosurgeon" and "volunteering" and you lost your shit.
You are pretty fucked up in the head.

@HannibalAteMeOut I didn't look at your bio until now.....your from Greece I see. That is the land of ultimate lazy ass folks as from what I have seen you all want something for nothing. 90% of you folks are lazy asses. I really have no respect for you now.

@acpguy The USA is the land of fatasses stereotypically. But I respect your folks because I know not everyone is like you so I'm not going to mention how Americans are considered the killers of all nations 🙂 anyway you don't know anything about my country ❤ I can only feel sorry for someone so ignorant, bitter, hateful and insecure. I will wish you to be able to get rid of that toxicity some day.

Love them! Women are of course free to go work if they like, but I certainly wouldn't mind having a wife who wanted to stay home and be a housewife.
Pherick · 41-45, M
@ScarletWitch I am paying for all that anyway, having my wife stay home and take care of my house, meals, our lives in general wouldn't "cost" more.
As I said if a woman wants to go work, more power to them. Its their choice.

I forgot that you must have a man job. Me and my SO have the same low minimum wage jobs. So we feel like teenagers... It sucks.
Pherick · 41-45, M
@ScarletWitch I am sorry in that regard, yea being a housewife I suppose assumes someone is making enough money to cover all the bills.

I think if that is what they want then it is great and I respect them as someone has to do the household chores. I feel the same about husbands that do the same. My wife works full time and then some as she is a college instructor and works long hours. I have my own consulting business and work out of the house, guess who does the cooking, cleaning, wash and grocery shopping. I do and don't mind a bit as one of has to or we share when she off for the summer.
