No, just get a cheap set of coasters! I admit I used textbooks from my course as a mousemat for a while though....

@BritishFailedAesthetic I read everything from my kindle, hands really hurt from reading this one described above, green hardcover, when i first got it i was so pleased having a serious theological work.
@SW-User Charles Hodge rings a bell but I'm not familiar with him.

@BritishFailedAesthetic His was the standard textbook in seminaries till Berkhof's ST, and Hodge based his largely on Turretin's Institutes of Elenctic Theology, to me that's a treasure to have for the simple fact that it's at such an advanced level that i've seen many a review that are chagrined deeply about it that that's not what the faith is about, referring to the dry aspect of it.
