I was wanting a small desk, my nephew brings this over,

Some sort of drafting desk?
Has anyone seen this before?

Yes it's a draftsman's desk. The lip goes at the bottom to hold pencils, erasers, scales, etc. While they work. Probably 80-100 yrs old .
