Can anyone advise me about what kind of food processor I should get?

I'm a home canner with pickle season coming up soon. I've gotten arthritic over the years, and now I have a tough time slicing many lbs. of cucumbers for my pickles..

I would like to buy an automatic electric slicer of some kind.

I checked out the Veggiebullet, and I like its spiraling features, but when it slices, it doesn't adjust to different thicknesses of slices.

My ideal processor would do spiraling, and ribbons as well as slices but would adjust for different thicknesses of slices.

Any good brands? Has anyone tried any of them for use in home canning?

my favorite pickle is bread 'n butter... so I do a lot of slice'n :))... I use an old Cuisinart... it works real well, but it does not spiral.
The best things bout it are it's powerful motor and large feeder tube.
A friend of mine just got a veggie bullet... gotta admit to some FP envy :)))

@bethsmiles: I like the veggiebullet but it doesn't adjust for thickness of slices. And I'm not sure about size of Cuisinart...I have very limited space as I share a kitchen with 5 other people.

I love bread 'n butter pickles! But all that thin slicing.....!
