Idk if I like the midsection of my backsplash. I think it’s too dark. Looking at this tile in the store it reflected a Metallic hue that just doesn’t appear in my kitchen maybe bc it’s not in direct light. It hasn’t been gouted yet but I doubt it will change the look much. I think I wanna change it. Here’s a pic by daylight and nighttime. The hood range also needs to be put in.
I think it would be better matching the rest of the backsplash. If you had the same countertop as your island the dark would be better I think. I'm not an interior designer though. Trying to balance everything out seems challenging
