also I just remembered about the time I got in trouble for playing with a pen

I was 8 years old or so and I was just playing with a pen on this big asian rug in the living room. It was bright white. I bent the pen, all the ink came out, and left this black blotch on the carpet.

My dad saw this, screamed at me, and then beat the shit out of me.

I was just thinking about pens on the other post and remembered about this.
