I should have never hired movers.

It's been over a week and I'm still sleeping on the floor in a sleeping bag, eating all packaged foods, wearing 1 of 5 outfits, and still no updates on when I'll get the rest of my stuff. My mattress is arriving today from the store, thank the Lord, but I had really hoped I'd had my couch long before then to make this more comfortable.

I would have been so much better off simply selling everything I could, throwing the rest away, flying to the city I want with a big suitcase, and buying all new stuff. It would've been cheaper, more convenient, easier, and financially safer. And I should've moved into a studio in a bigger city while we're at it, but that's a whole other can of worms.
