What I always hear: “We can’t afford to pay our workers $20/hour.” What I never hear: “We can’t afford to pay our CEO 100 million dollars a year.”

It depends on the business some small business owners cant pay that amount or they would lose money. A family I know their son is 25 yrs old 2 yr trade school going to work at a major automotive plant and make $45 an hour to start and if her works 2nd shift he gets a hourly bonus bump. The average price US vehicle is over $50k you cant buy a car making $20 hr its not just CEO problem!!
