How would you decorate this space?

Finally got around to tidying this corner of our new home 🏡✨ Now I can’t decide what to do with it next 😅. Should I keep it minimalist, or cozy it up with a rug and a few plants? Maybe even a bookshelf or a big floor lamp? How would you decorate this space?

I think you have to start with asking yourself what the primary purpose(s) are for the room, which will then help you determine orientation, arrangement…then its colors lights textures , and then pieces. If that helps…
