How would you decorate this space?

Finally got around to tidying this corner of our new home 🏡✨ Now I can’t decide what to do with it next 😅. Should I keep it minimalist, or cozy it up with a rug and a few plants? Maybe even a bookshelf or a big floor lamp? How would you decorate this space?

@Penny I'm all about the reading space, but my husband is leaning towards a guest space for hanging out. But no reason why we can’t have both functions for this one.

@NeonBallroom def a medium sized sectional and rug maybe like a bookshelf made of stacked wooden crates that you could play around with and put a small plant or two on (as well as books)?
