My bathroom sink issues

My bathroom sink has been leaking water on the floor and also has a large crack in the white part where the water runs. Not sure if that is causing water to pour on the floor when I brush my teeth, etc. Also I randomly have my bathroom sink and my tub stop up too and I used Crystal Heat on both which cleared that up but underneath my sink is always soaking wet and I am concerned about mold. Does this sound like a problem with the bathroom sink or with the plumbing underneath my house? If it's my sink, can I somehow replace that white sink part or am I going to have to get a whole new sink installed?

Maybe you can seal your sink with pipe glue or something so it doesn't leak

Leaking can cause not just mold but rot and termite damage (they like soggy wood)

@YoMomma ugh, I didn't know that. Hopefully the plumber coming out Wednesday can fix it. I don't want to buy a new sink. I already have termite service I pay for yearly.

Sounds like it is leaking from under the sink. The connection to the hot or cold water may have came loose.

@Sojournersoul How is that fixed? My sink cabinet is like cemented into the wall. It can't be pulled out to look underneath

@geoam1 I'm pretty sure it wasn't. The crack has been there a long time but has gotten worse. I don't know how it happened either. The only reason I noticed the water underneath was because I had bought a bathroom rug and I noticed it was constantly wet. I thought it was my cat peeing on it. But last night was the first time I saw water actually coming out when I turned the faucet on.
if you have a crack in purslane, get some Gorilla clear glue it will fix it right up,

Could you take a photo and show us?

@Mardrae Those are big cracks. I don't know what you could pull them with that would work. You probably need a new sink.
