Isn't it kind of odd that companies want to end "work from home"?

Yes, there can be a lot of people doing very little and faking their way through meetings, but at the end of the day those people will miss deadlines and can be fired. On the plus side, not having to house hundreds of people is a huge cost saving for a company, as well as the lack of HR complaints, sexual harassment issues, workplace injuries.
