IT FINALLY CAME!!!

I've been waiting for the "Phone call" that's frees me to finally relax and end my worry of being roasted in the summer, and freezing in the winter. A senior complex in Yakima has a room.

Today I was told there's a resident of the apartments moving out July 3rd. Then they'll redo the carpet, paint and I move into a freshly done studio. So August 1st I should be moving in.

I do hope for a apartment in the 5th floor and above, so I can see either the hills or the places downtown I'll be visiting or dining at. I may even pick back up bowling as I finally had my hip fixed, but never got back into it.

My plan is to dine at one restaurant every week. I've already found several which have some interesting menus. I'm planning on getting rid of my van, then get an electric bicycle (vehicle insurance is $300 for 6 months now!)

The local bus service $1 a ride, I could go senior citizen, but saving 50 cents ain't going to break me. I'll probably get a "Granny Cart" for groceries.

I'm expecting $360 a month (I was already informed that's the "normal" studio rent) so it leaves me with $700 for food and dining out.

So, really happy I'll have a safe place to sleep. 54 days till I move in!!!
