There's glue in a tube (you'd need a gun) and it goes by various names - it's called Hard as Nails over here.
You'd put some blobs on the boards, push them to the wall, support them for 24 hours and hey presto! Job done!
I'll see if I can find a pic

@Mellowgirl I've used that for years and I've found it sticks all surfaces permanently.
But you'd need the special gun for the gluetube - unless there's smaller tubes that you can apply it by hand?

@PissFun thank you...

@Mellowgirl - you're welcome

Presumably you have to be able to remove the board without damaging the wall at some future date - if so then glues aren't really an option as a glue capable of holding it up will take a chunk out of the plaster when you remove the board.

@Mellowgirl The only option that I would see would be a free standing frame that you can hang it from. This site has some ideas - https://www.heersmanagement.com/how-to-hang-things-without-damaging-your-walls/

@CheekyBadger thank you so much x

If you aren't allowed to damage the wall then it will be difficult due to the weight of the boards. Perhaps if you support them on something else and use blu-tack to stick them to the wall they might stay attached.

@CheekyBadger I don't think that will work tbh
I'm sorta shocked that the heavy-duty command strips aren't doing it (maybe multiples? one to each corner?). does the wall/surface need some sort of cleaning to let the strip get to something solid?

@stound no idea you know... I used them before with a 3mm thick mirror and when I got home smashed on the floor

@Mellowgirl if your wall have support on both end maybe try use telescopic rod and hook your poster to it.For these rod sure withstand weight and left no damage to wall and nail free installation

I bet you could find something on the topic on YouTube. Maybe something that pins 📍 into the wall.
This stuff is supposed to hold up to 2lbs (a little less than a kilogram).

The sticky hooks might work as seen on tv lol

Maybe Tesa Adhesive Nails?
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
@NerdyPotato sorry it wasn't a bad suggestion just they slowly give up...
NerdyPotato · M
@Mellowgirl no need to apologize. As I said, i have never used them myself, so I didn't know how helpful it would be, but it was worth a try and that's good to know if I ever have to hang something myself. Good luck with your further search!

How much do the mirrors weigh?
