(I tried to post the link to this You Tube video several times but was unsuccessful)
To watch the video, Google:
"Support Homeless Veterans and Their Dogs - You Tube"
It is estimated that here are more than 50,000 homeless veterans in America.
The vets who have dog companions cannot stay in homeless shelters because dogs are not allowed.
They choose instead to stay out on the cold streets in order to be with their canine companions.
(From the video)
"This Veteran's Day, thank homeless veterans for their service by purchasing a Care Pack filled with some basic essentials for them and their dogs.
Care Packs include necessities such as a reusable water bottle, change of clothes, hygiene kit, leash, collapsible bowl, treats, and a toy."
