Today is Veteran's Day in the U.S. [I Happy Veterans Day]

My father was a World War II vet, and this day meant a lot to him.

He died last year, and today I feel his absence.

My ex-husband was also a WW II vet. Today used to be his lucky day, as he was born on November 11th at exactly 11:00 am.
