Just a pet peeve but corned beef and cabbage isn’t Irish food. Salmon, pork or lamb would be closer. These days pizza would even be a better match.

@redredred it might have been when the Irish immigrated to the USA, corned beef is salted and keeps good through the winter so maybe that’s what they had to eat to celebrate here.
