She died 7 years ago tomorrow. May 4th (star wars day)"may the force be with you" a quote from Star Wars. She liked the series. 🙂

@Musicman Yes we both have several of our mothers.
I miss her Saturday morning phone calls. We'd be in the phone for hours.

@Blondily That was really nice. My mom didn't like talking on the phone. She preferred a visit.

@Musicman so did mine but she lived on the other side of the state, 3 hour drive.

@Blondily Mine moved from Virginia to Florida. That really made visits difficult.

@Musicman I wasnt happy when my parents moved either

@Blondily I understand. My parents had spent a few winters in Florida. Then one day they just up and sold their house and moved there permanently. ☹️

@Musicman The hub and I want to relocate but just can't do it because our daughter lives here. I'd be depressed not living close to her.

@Blondily I understand. Kids and grandkids are hard to leave. How close are you to retirement?
