Perhaps 2024 will be my year to finally get a few of my stories published. I know 2022/ 2023 were not the greatest years of my life. Realizing that I wasn't alone with my struggles, gave me hope that there was actually light at the end of the tunnel.
That survival instinct kicks in, an adrenaline rush as well as your optimism and positive nature help you get over the hurdles and road blocks. I wont lie, there were some negative people in my life who had a tendency to try and drag me down with them.
True friendship is reciprocal, it's not sarcastic, rude or dissing you as a person. Respect, trust and honesty are so important and l value the individuals who have been warm, compassionate and caring and understand that every one us of has to work through whatever challenges and issues that come our way.
