I Want to Wish Everyone a Happy New Years
With the year coming to an end, I thought I would share a rhyme I wrote a couple of years ago. Hopefully it will leave you with a small smile, and maybe even a tiny chuckle.
New Years Eve - 2014
I think I'll have a drink.
A drink to help me think.
And with a wink,
quicker than a blink,
my cheeks will be
rosy pink.
I'll remember the recent past,
and the year that's gone so fast.
Thoughts contrast,
in a lightning blast.
Fond memories
to ever last.
And before the end I'm drunk.
Though not drunk as a skunk.
Still...,
with my reason shrunk,
I'll act like a punk.
But at 12:02
I'll be in my bunk.
So before that time get's here,
I'd like to spread some cheer.
With a bit of flair,
I'll say it clear...,
we're headed to
a great New Year !
