If witchcraft was a major belief capitalism would take even more advantage of it.
Halloween!
The problem is both religion and capitalism. They feed each other.
How does anyone spread their beliefs? Through advertising their beliefs. Advertising is apart of capitalism. They support each other.
No TV evangelist would be on TV without capitalism. They couldn't afford to be on TV without the donations. Again they support each other.

ONE more time NO I'm one of these "Conspiracy Theorist" So NO I don't believe the day MAN Says is Easter is REALLY when Jesus Rose Again... Cause I DONT Know for sure... HOWEVER I'm here to tell you that God isn't Fake... That whole "Ask and you Shall Receive" Yeah I have proof of him hearing me when I asked him to send me a sign... And NO me and him aren't doing great right now.... But having an actual relationship with God (Not saying you have to go to church I don't) you will start to have Supernatural Experiences like I did... Just sayin.. but NO it's not an easy life to give up everything and I mean EVERYTHING Earthly for him... But it IS what he expects and I HAVE done that before sooi

With or without religion it's a day for families to gather and share a few hours and good food together. That's a good thing ,imop

Just enjoy the holiday. Enjoy time with your family.
Most of the British public holidays have nothing to do with Christianity.
New Years, Early May, Spring , and August.
Only two Christian Festivals occur at Public Holidays, Christmas Day and Good Friday. Pentecost and Ascension Day are not Public Holidays nor is the Feast of Epiphany, or Ash Wednesday, or Maunday Thursday.

Well I like chocolate and boiled eggs. I don't bother to see it as religious.

Millions around the world are not 'pretending'. You just don't agree with them. Is there a problem for you that others have a faith you don't share?

Rabbits have nothing to do with the Bible story, and I can't imagine anyone would think eating a chocolate model of one will enlighten them!
