Easter ... In the Netherlands
So, the national broadcasting service of the Netherlands has been broadcasting "The Passion" for the last 15 years. It's a huge musical that is kept in a different city every year. It depicts the last day(s) of Christ and his crucifixion. The story is set in a modern setting to make it easier and more relatable.
The narration that happens between the scenes is always the same. However, the scenes themselves are always a bit different and so are the songs. This year, the Dutch did something... that I think only the Dutch would do. When Judas leaves the last supper, on his way to sell out Jesus to Caiphas and the priest of the temple, he is conflicted if he should actually do it. He feels the tension inside of him... and too find some relief, he just stops at the illegale raveparty along the way to blow off some steam.
