Okay, so have you experienced any Christmas disasters that are worthy of discussion?

I had one a couple of years ago. I was baking a 28 pound turkey in my oven while hosting a family Christmas party and as Murphy's Law would have it, my very expensive oven quit working half-way through the cooking time. An error code appeared on the oven's high-tech glossy screen. Tried cycling the circuit breaker, but no dice.

I ended up using my gas cooktop stove to finish cooking the turkey for the next 2 hours which I'd never done before, nor do I recommend. Not pretty.
