We got a white Christmas!! ☃

Yesterday it snowed for the first time this winter, and it has stayed on the ground! =D

I was in Kiev with snow a good few years back, before the war. You can just about see the remnants of the snow on the ground. I was up at like the 24th floor or something. This was in the Osokorky district just near the big Novus supermarket.

@Nightwings I was visiting close friends. I've been there about 4 times, or maybe 5. Going back to 2004. I loved the place 😌

@Nightwings No, always got a lift from friends. I would never drive there myself either, I don't want to crash and die 😬 lol

My friends have mostly moved now, some in America and some in Poland. Only one remains in Kiev.

@ostfuidctyvm Once I used a Ukrainian version of Uber and the guy driving spent more than half the time in the opposite lane, I legit thought he was gonna be the end of me. 🫣

I'm glad they're safe. The one who still lives in Kyiv, do you know if he's been conscripted into the army?

@Nightwings No, he's too old for service. He's managed to avoid damage so far but there have been some pretty close strikes.

@Nightwings Yeah, at least it looks pleasantly wintery. There has been zero snow in England so far. More wind than anything.
