When I was a kid , the run up go Christmas began in early December
Work Christmas parties , when I started work where the week before Xmas Eve .
Now we have ‘Christmas ‘ events’ in October and parties in November

By commercializing Christmas, and all Holidays, corporations trivialize these celebrations. What should be important community events they taint with money, avarice and cynicism. Can we take our holidays back from the forces of greed?
