How much would you say is an appropriate amount to spend on Christmas

Please don't answer for anyone else than the honest truth.

I feel like every year I go completely broke buying my kids Christmas and then my parents act like I don't do enough and then my son's family is telling me I over did it and they never got that many gifts on Christmas

@SW-User I used to work part-time so that I could work a lot and then take a lot of time off when I saved my money up because I found that I would get burnt out as well
