Is this bragging about Christmas?

I saw this post scrolling through my Facebook feed. Basically it says you should think before posting pictures of your full Christmas tree.

You should take into consideration the people who aren’t as lucky.

How do you feel about this message? Do you think people should stay humble and not share their joy or is this in the spirit of jealousy and we are just coddling people by not posting?

I think we should be careful .

Poverty is rising
So is loneliness .
So is homelessness .

There are many who don't have presents , or a tree, or someone to give presents to , or a place to put a tree.

@OogieBoogie And so is frustration, inner unrest and beliefs "I deserve this too". 😬 So yeah, I'd be careful what I publicly share.

@CrazyMusicLover well , there is that too.

A few years back someone down the street got broken into Christmas Eve .
It was really sad and awful ...they took all the presents .😥

@OogieBoogie I wouldn’t post a picture like this but it wouldn’t bother me that someone has more than I do.

I see your point but where does that stop? I grew up really poor.

@OogieBoogie That I agree with. I don’t need to keep up with anyone but it also makes no difference to me if others have more than I do either.
