Is this bragging about Christmas?

I saw this post scrolling through my Facebook feed. Basically it says you should think before posting pictures of your full Christmas tree.

You should take into consideration the people who aren’t as lucky.

How do you feel about this message? Do you think people should stay humble and not share their joy or is this in the spirit of jealousy and we are just coddling people by not posting?

Tell me your thoughts.

Given that it's social media, there's no way to know if there's anything IN those gift boxes.

It just seems like competition. Or maybe it's dead broke by January and divorced by June. Or maybe more "creators" arrested for fraud and theft.

SW is the only social site I deal with. The rest seem empty to me. with posts like this trumpeting "We are so successful!"

If you are successful, congratulations.

Unless you live under a rock in the Outback, there's no way to avoid the insane commercial rush that Christmas has become.

People do what they do.

@Mamapolo2016 I get that, it’s just the fact that everyone has to edit what they are posting so they don’t make others feel badly.

It’s the message behind the picture. Don’t post your Christmas pictures that show people receiving lots of gifts when some people have so little.

I never thought for a moment to be jealous of someone like that.
@iamonfire696 Me either.
