Is this bragging about Christmas?

I saw this post scrolling through my Facebook feed. Basically it says you should think before posting pictures of your full Christmas tree.

You should take into consideration the people who aren’t as lucky.

How do you feel about this message? Do you think people should stay humble and not share their joy or is this in the spirit of jealousy and we are just coddling people by not posting?

Tell me your thoughts.

Using social media to attack social media posts is wrong. Speaking out for others in this manner is not effective (and some would say “projecting”)

If that person is struggling, then they should just come out and say they were struggling. Maybe not online for the world to see but to family and friends.

They don’t need to project about all the other supposed struggle families. Let them handle it their own way.

But… I think we should handle it as someone who has expressed they are struggling and not gaslight them for their misuse of the medium.

@JovialMoose how am I gaslighting them? I was asking about people’s opinions about this issue….

This is on my Facebook and this is a share post going around. I have every right to ask peoples opinions about this.

@iamonfire696 I just meant if people were personally attacking the OP on Facebook. Not this discussion.

@JovialMoose they weren’t attacking her. They were saying that people should be celebrating others successes.
