Is this bragging about Christmas?

I saw this post scrolling through my Facebook feed. Basically it says you should think before posting pictures of your full Christmas tree.

You should take into consideration the people who aren’t as lucky.

How do you feel about this message? Do you think people should stay humble and not share their joy or is this in the spirit of jealousy and we are just coddling people by not posting?

Tell me your thoughts.

My Facebook and Instagram profiles are set to private / friends only, so only the people on my friends list should be seeing my photos.

I don’t post that many Christmas morning pics anymore since my son is 13 now. But neither I nor anybody on my friends lists would expect people to not share their joy for fear of upsetting others. At least we are sharing actual family joy, and not the “girls have to be model skinny” innuendos that The Zuck and the social media ”influencers” are endlessly promoting for profit, which actually cause mental health issues in people.

@SW-User mine are set the same. I saw a friend post this.

So it got me thinking about her. There were people who agreed and others who didn’t agree.
