christmas song

a couple days ago at work my friends said they are not fans of O holy night.

What do you think?

When it comes to songs like O holy night, which needs such a powerful sound, you have to hear it in the church chorus for the perfect atmosphere and aucustics. It's indescribable the effect it gives, I just shiver thinking about it.

@edmister If it wasn't because of the snow storm I'd listen to a violin Orchestra with Christmas music tomorrow. But I'm snowed in. Too dangerous.

I love it, but I can understand why many would not. It is not a 'catchy' song to sing-along with, and that is what a lot of people want from Christmas music.

Awesome song. At St Patrick's Christmas Eve Midnight Mass they always have one of the tenors from the Met singing it during Communion
