Sad poetry...Christmas Wish: Walking with You
This is about me visiting my family in Heaven.
Sorry so long..
My Christmas wish
has just come true.
I'm coming home
to visit you.
I'll see my Mom,
hug her again.
And ask her how
you all have been.
(MOM)
Well I guess Dad's
not changed a bit.
Watching TV
as he just sits.
Elaine is cheerful
as you recall.
Laughing with Dad
caring for all.
And Grandma watches
each one of us.
From her green chair,
she doesn't fuss.
Tweety and Callie
and all your pets.
Are waiting here,
no need to fret.
(Me)
What should I say
about us two?
Adam and I
what should I do?
I can't tell them
that Adam struggles.
To find his peace.
he's been in trouble.
His girls are grown
they've moved away.
He misses them
most every day.
And as for me?
I will not tell.
My life feels like
a living hell.
"So here we are,
my loved ones dear.
One question more."
I shed a tear.
"Please tell me MOM
what do you do?"
(MoM)
