Survived another Christmas at our place

Thank Dog thats over, for us.. Christmas day was at our place this year, due to water damage at my daughters place. We have the facilities, the space and wall to wall A/C, so the logistics are good. But with a wife who is easily confused and forgetful, managing her at the same time as running a couple of ovens full of food can be like juggling chainsaws and kittens.. But the roast potatoes, and roast vegetables were a truimph. (Thank you You Tube)And apart from the prawns icing up a little in the second fridge, everything went smoothly enough. I even got help cleaning up, while my darling daughter in law listened to wife talk endlessly about her nursing days and wound management. (No small feat on a full stomach)
So of course there are leftovers that wont keep to be dumped today.. (once she wakes up) And a trip to the shopping centre for our quiet version of Boxing Day Sales, before it gets too hot...
