Christmas Tree

Christmas decorations and presents and all that doesn't excite me. I got to the point where it just felt more like pressure from tradition than fun. After i stopped and i realized the pressure stopped, I felt better and was more inclined to find other pleasant things to do with my time. I think it might be easier for me though as i don't have anyone that really expects it anymore. Families with young children I would imagine it would be harder to get away from it 😊. (Imho).
I think getting and having the motivation to do decorating and other things are many times effected or dependent on a lot of outside factors going on in our lives at the same time. 🙁. Maybe do some things that make you feel good if possible. I think that always helps. 🙂

I used to absolutely love decorating etc., and I wish I could once again feel like that. Sadly, I just cannot.

I have trouble just hanging up stockings

I stopped putting up Christmas trees, lights and decorations a few years ago.
I don't miss it at all.
And when you get right down to it, they really don't mean anything or have anything to do with the true meaning of Christmas.
