I don't really wanna do Christmas anymore

I think the seeing family is good but it's more of a capitalist "support the economy" day for most people. Which is strange as Jesus was the least materialistic person ever.

I'm ditching Christmas dinners and doing a bbq instead. It should be a day where you do nice things for others and the community, rather than be pressured into buying people things and spending lots of money.

I like the dinner because of its communal aspect, and you can cook good food cheaply relatively

But as far as presents I don’t stress too much
I just want my loved ones to know I care
So I buy one simple thing each
I’m thinking of trying to craft some presents too, and cards
