Is it a bit early

Is it a bit early to but Christmas stuff out considering it’a October
I was doing my supermarket shopping and there’s already Christmas decorations and other Christmas related stuff out on sale

Its very early. The retailers are getting desperate to make sales in the disastrous economy we find ourselves thrown into. We were at Sam's on Friday and the Halloween stuff is already on the sale counters and the Christmas stuff in now on full display.

@TexChik I thought it was strange
Like I don’t need to get any of the decorations I think I’m either at my mums or working over Christmas
I just thought it was strange

@TexChik I bought a couple of these to have in my pantry. Good sliced with tea or coffee for breakfast or an evening snack. Wish I could eat gluten, the boy loves it though. I hated fruitcake but loved this bread.

@TexChik I think I’ve seen something similar to that before
If I have I’ve never tried it yet
I say embrace it — get your shopping done early. That’s my plan this year. And I’ll laugh at people rushing to buy presents on Christmas Eve. I’m usually one of them.

@BiasForAction I didn’t buy any decorations I just was getting the food and stuff I needed
I’m at my mums for Christmas or I may be working I’ll have to find that out
No Christmas decorating until after Halloween at minimum, but best not before Thanksgiving .. in polite society anyway ;-)
