for those of you who celebrate Christmas, how or with what do you top your tree?

Thank you. The family room tree has all the odd ornaments that I have collected or been given over the years, and it's quite a collection. My nieces and nephews study it for hours, looking for particular ornaments, and then seeing what is new. I always try to buy new ornaments from different cities where I've traveled, and add in some unique new ornaments each year. It makes it worth the effort to put it up.

Two trees!!!! Awesomeness!!!! This sounds like an awesome idea!

@Tristemuneca: It is a fun way to do things, since there's never enough room on the formal tree for the other ornaments, but it doesn't matter on the second tree as symmetry and such goes out the window for a fun expression of a collection.

@toddr13: my kids would love this idea, our tree is just a collection of every ornaments ever.
It drives me nuts sometimes but I also can't get rid of any of the ornaments lol
Our place is small, no room for a second tree but we're looking for a bigger place and i might jut follow your steps 😁
